Jodie Ramsey<\/a> (Olivia Frances-Brown<\/a>) makes another unexpected move in Coronation Street<\/a> next week as she offers to look after baby Connie, much to the shock of Carla Connor<\/a> (Alison King<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The newcomer, as viewers know, has been causing chaos<\/a> since her arrival on the eponymous Street back in January. <\/p>\n

Having lied and manipulated her way into sister Shona\u2019s (Julia Goulding) life, the expert schemer is desperate to drive a wedge <\/a>between her sibling and her husband David Platt<\/a> (Jack P Shepherd).<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not just her own family that she\u2019s messed with<\/a>, having targeted a few cobbles dwellers including Brian Packham (Peter Gunn) \u2013 who had his book nicked \u2013 and Bernie Winter-Alahan (Jane Hazelgrove), whose house was broken into by the newcomer. <\/p>\n

And next week, it\u2019s baby Connie that\u2019s in Jodie\u2019s sights. <\/p>\n

Little Connie arrived on<\/a> Carla and Lisa Swain<\/a>\u2019s (Vicky Myers<\/a>) doorstep last week, much to the shock of the fan-favourite couple who had no idea who the six-month-old tot belonged to.<\/p>\n

After some of that signature investigating she does so well, Lisa solved the mystery<\/a>, revealing that Connie is the daughter of Carla\u2019s brother Rob Donovan (Marc Baylis) and prison-guard Mandy Waring (Rebecca Atkinson).<\/p>\n

Carla was against looking after Rob\u2019s child at first, opening up about her own miscarriage<\/a> over a decade ago as she reiterated all the torment Rob had bestowed upon her and the eponymous Street\u2019s residents. <\/p>\n

But after some careful consideration and words of support from Lisa, she had a change of heart, resolving to look after her niece. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s safe to say that Lisa and Carla have been doing a wonderful job of raising the little one but danger is on the cards next week in the form of villainous Jodie, who makes the couple quite an offer. <\/p>\n

The newcomer offers her services to mind baby Connie in upcoming scenes, assuring Carla that she is fully qualified to do so. <\/p>\n
