Prime Video’s LOL: Last One Laughing UK is officially back for a second season today, with a brand-new line-up of comedians. Thrown into a house together, the aim is making each other crack up, while not breaking themselves.

Producers decided to throw a spanner into the works, bringing season 1 winner Bob Mortimer back to the surprise of everyone, and seeing what chaos unfolds.

Roisin Conaty, who hosts alongside Jimmy Carr and keeps a watchful eye to see if any yellow or red cards need handing out, spoke about what it was like when the reigning champion walked back into the house.

Some people, you see the aggressive players thinking ‘I’m going for Bob’. And then you see the ones who are a bit more… running away.

“But when he walked into the house, people scattered like pigeons. They were like ‘no, no, no’. They didn’t know he was gonna be in there.”

Of course, you can see those scenes for yourself now, as the first three episodes are available on Prime Video, with the next three dropping next Thursday.

But the first three episodes aren’t all that have dropped today, as season 2 is being accompanied by its very own podcast, titled The Last Laugh: The Last One Laughing Podcast.

Prime Video

Related: Last One Laughing s2 hailed as “golden” and “brilliant” in first reviews

Conaty actually fronts this one, making it her podcast host debut, interviewing the contestants past and present, and celebrity fans of the show.

“It’s been a real treat for me getting to do my first podcast”, she said.

“The recording experience was an absolute joy, and I absolutely loved chatting about Last One Laughing and all the behind-the-scenes shenanigans with some of the funniest people around.”

LOL: Last One Laughing UK streams on Prime Video.

The new edition of Living Legends, a 100-page all-colour celebration of Harry Styles, is here!
