Manchester United have reportedly set a \u2018demand\u2019 after FC Barcelona\u2019s \u2018new offer\u2019 for forward Marcus Rashford.<\/p>\n
Last summer, Rashford <\/a>joined Spanish giants on loan with an option to buy for around \u00a326m.<\/p>\n Rashford was not expected to pull up any trees following his move from Man Utd <\/a>to Barcelona, but he has massively exceeded expectations this season.<\/p>\n The England international has ten goals and 13 assists in his 38 appearances this season, so the \u00a326m set fee for Barcelona\u2019s purchase option currently looks like a bargain.<\/p>\n However, Barcelona are renowned for their financial issues and have reportedly submitted a new offer to Man Utd in the hope of securing Rashford\u2019s services next season via another loan deal.<\/a><\/p>\n READ: Bournemouth vs Man Utd predictions: Cunha to end Cherries unbeaten Premier League run<\/a><\/p>\n It has also been consistently reported that Man Utd will stand firm and Rashford\u2019s performances place them in a strong negotiation position.<\/p>\n And a new report from The Mirror claims<\/a> Man Utd are \u2018to reject Barcelona\u2019s new Rashford offer\u2019 and \u2018demand\u2019 that the \u00a326m fee is paid in full.<\/p>\n Were Barcelona to refuse, Man Utd also reportedly think they could secure a \u00a350m fee from another club.<\/p>\n The report adds: \u2018United would be prepared to take Rashford back \u2013 and sell him to the highest bidder ahead of next season.<\/p>\n \u2018Old Trafford chiefs know Rashford\u2019s resurrection in Spain has boosted his valuation in the transfer market. And United would be confident of getting closer to \u00a350m for the 28-year-old, as well as getting him off the wage bill at the same time.\u2019<\/p>\n
