alternative premises to continue providing care to patients.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The update comes after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theboltonnews.co.uk\/news\/25921191.patients-urged-say-future-ladybridge-surgery\/?ref=ed_direct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">local councillors<\/a> raised concerns about the potential impact on residents if the surgery building were to permanently close.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The organisation said the current building has faced ongoing issues and does not meet modern healthcare requirements.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  A spokesperson for Bolton Community Practice CIC said: \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theboltonnews.co.uk\/news\/24778141.award-winning-bolton-cic-uses-unwanted-clothes-support-charities\/?ref=ed_direct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Bolton Community Practice CIC<\/a> has launched a survey for patients registered at Ladybridge Surgery to gather views on how we can improve and modernise the practice.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  \u201cThe current Ladybridge building is old and we have had many issues with the building over the years.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  \u201cAn <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theboltonnews.co.uk\/news\/25626522.faces-care-shine-light-boltons-emergency-nhs-heroes\/?ref=ed_direct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">NHS<\/a> Greater Manchester premises review in 2023 confirmed that the site is no longer suitable and is in need of new, fit-for-purpose premises.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  \u201cOur lease has now expired, so we are exploring suitable alternative premises to ensure continuity of care for our patients.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The surgery building has experienced problems in recent years, including a leak that forced the practice to close for several days in 2024.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theboltonnews.co.uk\/news\/25753168.concerns-raised-bolton-oversight-health-amid-nhs-changes\/?ref=ed_direct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Integrated Care Board (ICB)<\/a> review carried out in 2023 concluded that the premises would need replacing.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Bolton Community Practice CIC operates four GP surgeries across the borough, including sites in Horwich, Little Lever, Ladybridge and Waters Meeting Health Centre.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The practice has launched a survey asking patients and stakeholders for their views as it considers options for the future of services in the area.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The spokesperson added: \u201cWe want to make sure that any future plans for relocating the surgery reflect what matters most to the people who use it.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  \u201cWe strongly encourage patients and stakeholders to complete the survey so their views can directly inform the development of the new premises and service.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Patients registered with the practice can attend appointments at any of the organisation\u2019s sites.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The consultation
