However, sources have informed the People’s Channel the golfer had made it a top priority to play in April and is hopeful he will feature at the Masters.<\/p>\n

The 50-year-old’s name was also conspicuously absent from the “Past Champions Not Playing” section, appearing instead among the 2026 competitors.<\/p>\n

The present tense phrasing and updated start count, following his 26th appearance in 2024, have fuelled optimism Woods will compete when the tournament commences on April 9.<\/p>\n

Despite the website update, Woods himself has not officially confirmed his participation in the upcoming major.<\/p>\n

Speaking after his Jupiter Links team reached the TGL final, the 50-year-old acknowledged his rehabilitation remains unpredictable.<\/p>\n

Woods said: “I said I’ve been working on it. Sometimes I have good days, sometimes I have bad days. Disk replacement is not a lot of fun.”<\/p>\n

One fan account captured the cautious optimism on social media platform X, posting: “The Official 2026 Masters app has been updated. I’m ready to get hurt again”\u2014a reference to supporters’ history of raised and dashed hopes.<\/p>\n

Woods co-founded TGL alongside Rory McIlroy, the indoor technology-driven golf league that launched its inaugural season with his participation.<\/p>\n
