Gary Cahill has urged Chelsea fans not to read too much into Enzo Fernandez\u2019s post-match comments, suggesting that the midfielder is committed.<\/p>\n

Enzo Fernandez<\/a>\u2019s situation at Chelsea<\/a> has only added to the disappointing results of late, with Liam Rosenior now under even more pressure. <\/p>\n

Despite being under contract until 2032, Fernandez\u2019s refusal to rule out a summer move<\/a> to the likes of Real Madrid or PSG has left the club\u2019s hierarchy scrambling. <\/p>\n

Adding to the tension, Fernandez recently admitted that the mid-season sacking of Enzo Maresca<\/a> hurt the squad and disrupted a clear tactical identity. Rosenior insists their relationship remains strong, but the closer we get to the summer transfer window, you can\u2019t help but think what could happen. <\/p>\n

Speaking on Sky Sports<\/a> live coverage ahead of Chelsea\u2019s clash with Everton, Gary Cahill insists that he knows Liam Rosenior and Fernandez\u2019s relationship is a good one. <\/p>\n

\u201cNo, I don\u2019t think so. When he spoke, he was misinterpreted with some of the words that he said. And emotionally, it was too quick to speak after the game, very emotional. <\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s one of the leaders in the dressing room and I know he has a great relationship with the manager. I think he\u2019s fully committed, and you\u2019ve seen that today again with the captain\u2019s armband.\u201d<\/p>\n

Enzo Fernandez has spoken about how Rosenior has unlocked a new role for him<\/a> that he even prefers at Chelsea, so perhaps we could be reading too much into things. <\/p>\n

There have been claims that Fernandez is 99% sure to leave Chelsea<\/a> in the summer, despite nothing being set in stone at all with the midfielder.<\/p>\n

However, Chelsea sees Fernandez as \u2018irreplaceable.\u2019 So they won\u2019t go down without a fight and are even expected to offer him a new deal worth over \u00a3400k per week. <\/p>\n

All this could be in vain if Chelsea are to miss out on Champions League football, though, as Fernandez already has options from European powerhouses. <\/p>\n
