\n Greg took on what was described as his \u201cmost gruelling and absurd challenge yet\u201d: cycling 1,000km across the UK over eight arduous days . . . on a tandem!\n<\/p>\n
\n After his 2018 challenge,\u00a0Greg had said \u2018never again\u2019, but he is back pushing himself to the limits for Comic Relief.\n<\/p>\n
\n This time, he is raising funds for projects that help people eat, sleep and feel safe, offering local, fast support when and where it is needed most.\n<\/p>\n
\n While Greg is no stranger to Comic Relief challenges, Radio 1\u2019s Longest Ride, it was said, would \u201cthrow him truly out of his comfort zone\u201d as he took on the longest challenge and furthest distance ever completed by a Radio 1 challenger.\n<\/p>\n
\n From his start line in Weymouth on March 13, Greg\u2019s journey took him through Wales, the Midlands and the north of England to his finish line at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh on Red Nose Day.\n<\/p>\n
