\n On Friday afternoon, officers at St Gregory\u2019s High School investigating the thefts noticed a person matching the suspect in their appeals.\n<\/p>\n
\n Perry Stanley, aged 33 and of Meadway in Widnes, has since been charged with three counts of theft of a pedal cycle and one of going equipped for theft.\n<\/p>\n
\n The theft charges allege that he stole three bikes worth a combined \u00a32,312.47 from two women and a man, with two thefts allegedly occurring at St Gregory\u2019s and one at Great Sankey High School.\n<\/p>\n
\n The going equipped for theft charge alleges that he was dressed wearing a balaclava, woolly hat, black puffer jacket, and gloves for use in the course of theft.\n<\/p>\n
\n He appeared before Chester Magistrates\u2019 Court today, Saturday, where he denied the offences and was remanded in custody to stand trial next month.\n<\/p>\n

\n The force\u2019s Warrington West Police team said: \u201cOfficers from the Warrington West Beat Team were at St Gregory\u2019s High School on Friday afternoon, making enquiries into recent bike thefts.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cAfter less than five minutes, who should appear but a man matching exactly the description of our suspect from our appeal on Thursday, eyeing up more bicycles outside the school.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cHe was swiftly detained and arrested.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cMuch later on into the night, the 33-year-old man, of Widnes, was charged with three counts of theft of pedal cycle \u2013 two from St Gregory\u2019s High School and one from Great Sankey High School \u2013 as well as going equipped to steal.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cHe appeared on Saturday morning at Chester Magistrates\u2019 Court, where he was further remanded into custody until April 21, when he will stand trial.\n<\/p>\n
