\n\tCarrie Anne Fleming<\/a>, a Canadian actress best known for her work in TV shows like iZombie<\/a> and Supernatural<\/a>, has died. She was 51.<\/p>\n

\n\tPer reports, Fleming died Feb. 26 in Sidney, British Columbia of complications related to breast cancer.<\/p>\n

\n\tBorn August 16, 1974, in Digby, Nova Scotia, Fleming attended Mount Douglas Senior Secondary in Victoria, B.C. and studied drama at the Kaleidoscope Theatre and dance at Kidco Theatre Dance Company. <\/p>\n

\n\tAfter graduation, she began modeling to help support her family. Having appeared on screen for three decades, Fleming\u2019s first roles include an uncredited appearance in Adam Sandler\u2019s Happy Gilmore and the TV movie Viper. <\/p>\n

\n\tOn TV, she scored parts in series including Smallville, The L Word, The 4400, unREAL and Supergirl. Her film credits include roles in Good Luck Chuck, Married Life, That Burning Feeling and Rememory.<\/p>\n

\n\tOverall, her performances largely occurred within the supernatural and sci-fi space, most exemplified by her recurring role on The CW\u2019s Supernatural as Karen Singer, the wife of main character Bobby Singer (Jim Beaver), an old friend of the Winchesters. Similarly, on the living dead comedy starring Rose McIver, iZombie, she had a recurring part as Candy Baker across all five seasons.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a 2005 episode of Masters of Horror, titled \u201cJenifer,\u201d she portrayed the eponymous character, a woman with a facial deformity.<\/p>\n

\n\tOutside of the screen, Fleming was also an active participant in the B.C. theater community, with stage credits including Romeo and Juliet, Fame and Steel Magnolias.<\/p>\n
