Coronation Street<\/a> spoilers follow.<\/p>\n

Coronation Street star Pauline McLynn has teased that there could be another twist in the pipeline ahead of the conclusion of the soap\u2019s huge death mystery next month. Back in February, a flashforward episode<\/a> showed that on the day of Carla Connor and Lisa Swain\u2019s wedding in April, Betsy will make a horrifying discovery when she finds a body.<\/p>\n

It has been confirmed that the body will be one of the characters who have made waves on the cobbles in recent months \u2013 Maggie, Megan, Theo, Carl or Jodie.<\/p>\n

But in an exclusive chat with us at Inside Soap<\/a>, Pauline, who plays Maggie, revealed that any of these characters at risk could also turn killer themselves \u2013 and that there could be more than one death.<\/p>\n

“What I\u2019m loving about that whole storyline is that I can see how anyone would have potential to kill Maggie<\/a>,” she remarks, “and there\u2019s five potential dead people \u2013 it might be more than one person who\u2019s dead!<\/p>\n

“All five of the people who are up for being killed, any one of those could have killed someone else. We filmed a lot of it at night in the storms, so even nature was adding to the atmosphere!”<\/p>\n

Maggie has ruffled a few feathers since the Driscolls\u2019 arrival in Weatherfield last year and has made enemies both inside and outside her family.<\/p>\n

Not only is she closely involved with the fallout of the story involving athletics coach Megan grooming teenage Will<\/a>, but Maggie is also keeping a major secret of her own \u2013 that she secretly had an affair with Jim McDonald decades ago.<\/p>\n

There is a chance that Ben could be Jim\u2019s son, making him Steve\u2019s half-brother, and Maggie is evidently concerned about the possibility that Ben could have inherited Jim\u2019s condition<\/a>, myotonic dystrophy, as a result.<\/p>\n

But as this shocking bombshell seems destined to be exposed, how would Pauline feel if Maggie ended up being the murder victim<\/a> next month?<\/p>\n

\u201cAs long as it\u2019s a good death and there\u2019s a bit of screaming and shouting at the television,\u201d she laughs, \u201cI\u2019m happy enough to go!”<\/p>\n
