Evan King<\/a> and John Peers<\/a> earned a stunning victory at the Miami Open presented by Itau<\/a> on Sunday when they staged a comeback to upset the recent Acapulco champions Marcelo Melo<\/a> and Alexander Zverev<\/a> 4-6, 7-6(5), 10-4 in the opening round. <\/p>\n In a match of narrow margins, King and Peers maintained their composure to avoid an early loss. While trailing by a set and 2\/5 in the second-set tie-break, they reeled off five consecutive points to clinch the set, eventually sealing victory in one hour and 38 minutes. The duo crucially saved five of the seven break points it faced, according to Infosys ATP Stats. <\/p>\n Zverev will aim to continue his singles campaign in Miami on Monday when he will face Marin Cilic<\/a> in the fourth round. <\/p>\n King and Peers will next face third seeds Christian Harrison<\/a> and Neal Skupski<\/a>.
