\t\t\t\tHere\u2019s how the 2026 Valspar Championship prize money will be awarded after the PGA Tour\u2019s finest did battle on the famous Copperhead course.<\/p>\n

The Valspar Championship prize money will rise by $400,000 to $9.1 million for the 2026 edition. The winner will take home the PGA Tour-standard 18% share.<\/p>\n

Just a week after missing out to Cameron Young at The Players Championship, Matt Fitzpatrick took the crown thanks to a birdie on the 72nd hole. The 31-year-old was one of three Englishmen to finish in the top-5, along with PGA Tour rookies Jordan Smith and Marco Penge.<\/p>\n

The Valspar Championship has been a permanent fixture on the PGA Tour roster<\/a> since its introduction as the Tampa Bay Classic in 2000 when the purse was a more modest $2.4m. By Retief Goosen\u2019s victory in 2003, the prize fund had already doubled and has continued to climb ever since.<\/p>\n
