(Photo by Warren Little\/Getty Images)\" class=\"wp-image-364210\" title=\"Injured Arsenal star to miss at least 2 weeks 2\" \/>Photo by Warren Little\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>John Cross reports for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/sport\/football\/news\/arsenal-eberechi-eze-injury-update-36908942\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Mirror<\/a> that there\u2019s a clear expectation that <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycannon.com\/tag\/eberechi-eze\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Eberechi Eze<\/a> will be out for two weeks, but thanks to the international break he may not miss any Arsenal matches. He\u2019s already <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycannon.com\/2026\/03\/white-england-call-up\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">pulled out<\/a> of England\u2019s games against Uruguay and Japan.<\/p>\n<p>The midfielder will undergo a scan on the injury this week, and Cross adds that it\u2019s clearly worse than first thought.<\/p>\n<p>But Arsenal haven\u2019t put a timeline on things beyond the first two weeks, as they need the results of this scan to make a decision.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/GettyImages-2262981192-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"LONDON, ENGLAND - FEBRUARY 22: Eberechi Eze of Arsenal celebrates scoring his team's first goal during the Premier League match between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on February 22, 2026 in London, England. (Photo by Justin Setterfield\/Getty Images)\" class=\"wp-image-362583\" title=\"Injured Arsenal star to miss at least 2 weeks 3\"\/>Photo by Justin Setterfield\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>Arsenal return to action with an FA Cup match against Southampton on April 4th, but that will be followed by the Champions League quarter-final first leg and a must-win Premier League game at home to Bournemouth.<\/p>\n<p>If Eze\u2019s fitness is still uncertain ahead of the FA Cup match, it wouldn\u2019t be a surprise to see <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycannon.com\/tag\/mikel-arteta\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mikel Arteta<\/a> rotating and using backups for that game, to avoid taking risks ahead of the remainder of a tricky April.<\/p>\n<p>Even after the Champions League quarter-final, Arsenal have to play Manchester City away and Newcastle United at home, two more big games. (Photo by Julian Finney\/Getty Images)\" class=\"wp-image-348833\" title=\"Injured Arsenal star to miss at least 2 weeks 4\"\/>Photo by Julian Finney\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>Eze has scored nine goals and assisted six in his first 41 games for Arsenal, and he scored the best of the lot against Bayer Leverkusen to put the Gunners into the Champions League quarter-finals.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, that result was ultimately marred by the injury that kept Eze out of the League Cup final.
