Following a series of teaser posters displayed in the streets Paris, featuring titles of some of her iconic songs, Canadian superstar C\u00e9line Dion is now officially making a comeback.<\/p>\n

The 57-year-old singer is set to return to the stage later this year, four years after being diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS)<\/a>. <\/p>\n Dion is reported to be preparing a twice-weekly residency this September and October at Paris La D\u00e9fense Arena, according to French-Canadian newspaper La Presse<\/a>.<\/p>\n The singer last headlined a show in Newark, New Jersey on 8 March 2020. Her Courage World Tour was subsequently cut short by the outbreak of the Covid pandemic. <\/p>\n She has not yet officially commented on the reports. <\/p>\n In 2022, C\u00e9line Dion was diagnosed with SPS, a rare and incurable neurological disorder that severely impacts mobility and the ability to sing. She cancelled the remaining dates<\/a> of her tour the following year. <\/p>\n In a statement at the time<\/a>, she said: \u201cI\u2019m working really hard to build back my strength, but touring can be very difficult even when you\u2019re 100 per cent.\u201d <\/p>\n Dion\u2019s battle against this illness was chronicled in the 2024 documentary I Am: C\u00e9line Dion. <\/p>\n In 2024, she made a rare appearance at the Grammy Awards<\/a>, where she received a standing ovation.
