It was just after the hour mark during Chelsea\u2019s second leg against PSG when Senny Mayulu proved his potential, scoring a gorgeous third. The French talent is a target for Chelsea and Arsenal.<\/p>\n

It was a significant moment in Mayulu\u2019s development. An eighth aggregate goal in the 8-2 win over Liam Rosenior\u2019s side hardly affected the end result, but for Mayulu, it proved he can do it right at the top level.<\/p>\n

This is a 19-year-old midfielder who has come through the PSG ranks and sparkled under Luis Enrique. Able to play in several positions, Mayulu has had a hand in 21 goals in 76 appearances for PSG. <\/p>\n

Mayulu has serious potential, and yet, PSG has failed to extend his contract. Mayulu\u2019s deal ends in June 2027, and according to Media Foot<\/a>, PSG are in talks. But Premier League<\/a> sides are beginning to lurk.<\/p>\n

Arsenal make move for Mayulu after Chelsea were linked<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, reports emerged before Chelsea faced PSG that the Blues were one of a handful of clubs interested in signing Mayulu<\/a>. It was reported that a \u00a361m<\/a> fee would tempt PSG into a sale.<\/p>\n

But Arsenal were among that list of suitors, with the initial report claiming Arsenal saw Mayulu as the perfect heir to former Chelsea star Kai Havertz. Now, Media Foot delivers an update on their website.<\/p>\n

It is reported that Arsenal have now moved to land Mayulu ahead of Chelsea and have made an offer to Mayulu\u2019s representatives, ahead of the summer. Mayulu remains in talks with PSG over a new deal.<\/p>\n

Chelsea\u2019s second leg will surely have made up Mayulu\u2019s mind<\/p>\n

The 5-2 defeat in Paris can happen. Chelsea matched PSG for an hour, only to throw all their hard work away in the final 30 minutes. But the 3-0 loss at home was dismal, and it showed a real gulf in class.<\/p>\n

Now, Mayulu will want to join a side where he is the first choice. He probably would be at Chelsea, or certainly a very important part of the team. But in a side that might not qualify for the Champions League.<\/p>\n

PSG embarrassed Chelsea<\/a> and if the Blues fail to qualify for the Champions League, which looks unlikely, Mayulu will surely prefer Arsenal over Chelsea. Especially given Mikel Arteta\u2019s faith in younger players.<\/p>\n
