{"id":497621,"date":"2026-03-27T04:14:09","date_gmt":"2026-03-27T04:14:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/497621\/"},"modified":"2026-03-27T04:14:09","modified_gmt":"2026-03-27T04:14:09","slug":"project-motor-racing-free-to-play-on-pc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/497621\/","title":{"rendered":"Project Motor Racing free-to-play on PC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The promotion means that those with a PC and Steam can play Project Motor Racing for no charge from now until the 30th March.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t<img width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Project-Motor-Racing-free-on-PC.jpg\" class=\"attachment-post-thumbnail size-post-thumbnail wp-post-image\" alt=\"Project Motor Racing free on PC\" decoding=\"async\" fetchpriority=\"high\"  \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>In an effort to see an increase in PC player numbers, and following a <a href=\"https:\/\/traxion.gg\/project-motor-racings-update-2-0-patch-notes\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\u2018Update 2.0\u2019 release earlier this week<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/traxion.gg\/category\/games\/project-motor-racing\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Project Motor Racing<\/a> is becoming free to play for a limited period.<\/p>\n<p>Starting now, 5 pm GMT on 26th March 2026, and ending at 6 pm BST on 30th March 2026, the full game can be downloaded and played for no charge from Steam.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Project-Motor-Racing-free-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"Project Motor Racing free\" class=\"wp-image-103122\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>This means the full career mode and the ranked multiplayer races \u2013 the full game \u2013 is unlimited and free during this time period.<\/p>\n<p>A significant update was recently launched for the title, bringing with it notably upgraded tyre models for several classes and a raft of welcome changes. In the opinion of the Traxion team, however, there are still <a href=\"https:\/\/traxion.gg\/project-motor-racings-2-0-update-long-road-to-redemption\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">many areas in need of improvement<\/a>, but the quantity of changes is welcome.<\/p>\n<p>For those who did not dive in at its November release, now you can at least see how the present version compares to other sim racing titles.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/PMR-2-6-1-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"GT3s, Spa-Francorchamps, Project Motor Racing\u2019s 2.0 update: Long road to redemption\" class=\"wp-image-103073\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>Discounts<\/p>\n<p>Another element, again relating to the recent game update, is a limited-time price reduction. It\u2019s currently 50% off on Steam and Xbox and 43% off on PlayStation 5.
