NRL superstar Roger Tuivasa-Sheck has confirmed he will be making the shock move to Wakefield Trinity at the end of the 2026 season.<\/p>\n

Tuivasa-Sheck was linked with the move earlier this week and the New Zealand international has now announced the deal in a video posted online. The clip shows RTS signing the Wakefield contract in a move that will see him make the move to Belle Vue on a two-year deal.<\/p>\n

It comes as a huge boost to Super League and Wakefield, who have secured a genuine star of the game. The versatile back has made 235 appearances in the NRL, with his time being split between Sydney Roosters and New Zealand Warriors.<\/p>\n

He has 20 caps for New Zealand under his belt and over the last couple of years he has picked up five caps for Samoa, the nation of his birth.<\/p>\n

Tuivasa-Sheck is also able to call himself an All Black, having represented New Zealand on three occasions during a brief stint in rugby union between 2022 and 2023.<\/p>\n

The 32-year-old can play at full-back and centre, but he has been seen on the wing so far this season, starting all four of the Wahs\u2019 NRL fixtures so far. It remains to be seen where he will feature for Wakefield, but it seems as though an outside back spot is most likely at this point.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has been a big ass day, man,\u201d Tuivasa-Sheck said in the video posted online.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, I just initialled every page, and now go back to the real deal. Signed by the player\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

After putting pen to paper, he said: \u201cThat\u2019s it. Done. I just signed a two-year deal with Wakefield Trinity in the Super League. Take my services north, take the family with me, have an adventure, try to win a comp and have a lot of fun man. Let\u2019s see how we go.<\/p>\n
