Ryan Gosling\u2019s Project Hail Mary<\/a> is poised to repeat at No. 1 with another strong showing in the $40 million-$50 million range, a solid hold after last weekend\u2019s massive $80.5 million debut. With no new competition for premium screens and word of mouth continuing to build, the Amazon MGM sci-fi hit should cruise past $150 million domestically by Sunday.<\/p>\n

Pixar\u2019s Hoppers is once again set for second place, adding roughly $10 million\u2013$13 million in its fourth weekend. The animated title continues to benefit from being the only major family option in the market, holding steady as it climbs toward $140 million domestically.<\/p>\n

\"Project<\/a> \"Ryan<\/a> <\/p>\n

Warner Bros.\u2019 They Will Kill You<\/a> is the weekend\u2019s only notable wide opener, but it\u2019s looking at a modest start in the mid-single digits. Despite solid reviews and a buzzy premise, the genre entry starring Zazie Beetz faces tough timing \u2014 arriving just one week after Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, which is also expected to land in a similar range as it drops in its second frame.<\/p>\n

Universal\u2019s Reminders of Him should continue its run in the top five with around $4 million\u2013$6 million, while holdovers like Scream 7 and GOAT remain in the mix for the final spots depending on how the weekend shakes out.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, it\u2019s a quieter frame for new releases. IFC\u2019s Forbidden Fruits is expanding wide but is unlikely to break into the top tier, while Sofia Coppola\u2019s documentary Marc by Sofia \u2014 centered on designer Marc Jacobs \u2014 joins indie titles like Our Hero, Balthazar and The AI Doc: Or How I Became an Apocaloptimist<\/a> in limited release.<\/p>\n

Theaters are also leaning into nostalgia with anniversary rereleases of Stand by Me (40th) and The Mummy Returns (25th), adding some variety to a weekend otherwise dominated by holdovers.<\/p>\n
