(Photo by Mike Marsland\/Getty Images for Sky)<\/p>\n<p>One person said: \u201cHe looks like he\u2019s wearing someone else\u2019s face.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe looks different\u2026 He\u2019s unrecognisable.\u00a0Is that surgery?!\u201d another added.<\/p>\n<p>Others compared his appearance to that of other celebrities, with one online commenter quipping: \u201cIf Timothee Chalamet and Jeremy Allen White had love child that was born old.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"613\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/498d4a5b6acefb036063ab0f161e21c6.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-903571\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.141954066936861;width:840px;height:auto\"  \/>Aaron Taylor-Johnson in 2018 Netflix film Outlaw King (Netflix)<\/p>\n<p>Another person added: \u201cWhat in the hell happened? Genuinely, not trying to be mean\u2026. This just\u00a0doesn\u2019t look like him, at all! Something is different.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Several other commenters referenced the fact that Taylor-Johnson is married to a woman 24 years older than him;\u00a0the couple reportedly met when he was 18 and Sam was 42 while working on the 2009 film\u00a0Nowhere Boy. One person wrote, unkindly: \u201cHe\u2019s married to an old [woman] who drained him of his\u00a0natural beauty.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Taylor-Johnson isn\u2019t the only celeb to cause a stir for changing his appearance recently. The Last of Us\u00a0star Pedro Pascal rocked up to the red carpet at this year\u2019s Oscars on 15 March <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thepinknews.com\/2026\/03\/16\/pedro-pascal-debuts-very-different-look-at-oscars\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">looking not quite like his usual self.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>he showed off his new facial hair arrangement \u2013 or rather, lack of. Yep,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/thepinknews.com\/topic\/pedro-pascal\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pedro Pascal<\/a>\u00a0is a clean shaven man now.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"515\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Pedro-Pascal-has-gone-moustache-less.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-902758\"  \/>Pedro Pascal has gone moustache-less.
