Add Happy Death Day to the list of horror franchises fans are still begging to see continued.<\/p>\n
We all fell in love with Jessica Rothe\u2018s Tree Gelbman, a college student who relives the day of her murder over and over until she identifies her killer.<\/p>\n
The first film, directed by Christopher Landon, was released in 2017 by Blumhouse and Universal Pictures and grossed over $125 million worldwide; its sequel, Happy Death Day 2U (2019), grossed approximately $64 million globally.<\/p>\n
