Everton manager <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thechelseachronicle.com\/news\/kiernan-dewsbury-hall-shares-what-convinced-him-to-ditch-chelsea-after-everton-move-is-confirmed\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">David Moyes is excited about the Dewsbury-Hall signing<\/a>, claiming the midfielder had plenty of interest before deciding to choose Merseyside.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere, Chelsea completed the sale of defensive midfielder <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thechelseachronicle.com\/tag\/lesley-ugochukwu\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Lesley Ugochukwu<\/a>, 21, to Burnley. On paper, it feels like a great deal for all parties involved.<\/p>\n<p>The left-footed midfielder was an effective squad player for the Blues last season, scoring five goals and creating four assists in 36 matches across all competitions.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s fantastic that Dewsbury-Hall has added a Club World Cup and Conference League medal to his list of achievements, but he should be playing a lot more football as he enters the prime years of his career. At Everton, we\u2019re confident that he can do just that.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thechelseachronicle.com\/news\/everton-fans-agree-on-whether-kiernan-dewsbury-hall-starts-for-them-after-agreeing-chelsea-transfer\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Everton supporters believe Dewsbury-Hall starts for them<\/a> when he joins the Toffees.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/GettyImages-2222337001-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall playing for Chelsea against Esperance de Tunis in the Club World Cup.\" \/>Photo by Image Photo Agency\/Getty ImagesKiernan Dewsbury-Hall replacements at Chelsea<\/p>\n<p>Even though Dewsbury-Hall struggled to get into Chelsea\u2019s XI last term, he was a very useful option in reserve behind Moises Caicedo, Romeo Lavia and Enzo Fernandez. In fact, he was a key player in the Blues\u2019 success in winning the Conference League.<\/p>\n<p>His exit has opened the door for central midfielders Andrey Santos and Dario Essugo to shine in the upcoming season.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thechelseachronicle.com\/transfer-news\/enzo-maresca-to-hand-18m-chelsea-player-a-chance-if-kiernan-dewsbury-hall-leaves-this-summer\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Essugo was likely to stay at Chelsea if Dewsbury-Hall departed<\/a>, so he can now provide extra depth in the centre of the park.
