After scoring her second goal, it prompted chants from the away crowd. “We are top of the league,” they roared on repeat.<\/p>\n
City’s afternoon was made even sweeter when Casparij sealed victory immediately after half-time and she celebrated proudly with supporters, clutching the badge on her shirt as she did so.<\/p>\n
Captain Alex Greenwood also enjoyed the roar of celebration that came her way every time she walked over to take a corner in front of supporters in the second half.<\/p>\n
Two more victories, and the WSL title is theirs.
