{"id":501272,"date":"2026-03-29T05:22:13","date_gmt":"2026-03-29T05:22:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/501272\/"},"modified":"2026-03-29T05:22:13","modified_gmt":"2026-03-29T05:22:13","slug":"route-revealed-for-dom-whitings-bike-ride-in-southampton","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/501272\/","title":{"rendered":"Route revealed for Dom Whiting&#8217;s bike ride in Southampton"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  Dom Whiting&#8217;s Drum &amp; Bass On The Bike is set to descend on the city tomorrow.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  An estimated crowd of 2,000 gathered on Above Bar Street when the cycling sensation last came to Southampton, back in 2024.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  During the build-up to\u00a0Dom&#8217;s departure people of all ages bounced up and down in time to music that blasted out of several speakers.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Some of the spectators gathered in the street, halting double-decker buses and other vehicles trying to get through.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Dom&#8217;s route through Southampton on Sunday afternoon will take him from Guildhall Square, up the Avenue, along Burgess Road and down <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailyecho.co.uk\/news\/district\/winchester\/?ref=au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Winchester<\/a> Road.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  He will then turn left along Romsey Road and Shirley High Street, saying: &#8220;We had to include the iconic Shirley Street from the 2022 ride!&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The route then sees the ride go back past the station and ending back in Guildhall Square.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  It is due to start at 2pm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Dom Whiting&#8217;s Drum &amp; Bass On The Bike is set to descend on the city tomorrow.
