Is Jacob Gallagher<\/a> (Joe-Warren Plant<\/a>) about to be handed everything he needs to bring down his bullying boss in Emmerdale<\/a>?<\/p>\n

Jacob is still having a tough time<\/a> of it with his mentor and boss Dr Todd (Caroline Harker)<\/a>, who is doing what she can to make his life hell<\/a>. She\u2019s been belittling him, undermining him, working him like a dog in demanding research papers in an impossible amount of time.<\/p>\n

His marriage is suffering, his sanity is hanging by a thread, he can\u2019t take much more of this.<\/p>\n

Ah, but karma has a way of appearing at just the right moment and Jacob is about to find the opportunity to make sure Dr Todd gets her dose of it.<\/p>\n

His moment arrives when he witnesses Dr Todd manhandling and shouting at a patient. <\/p>\n

Her crown slips, Jacob sees behind the curtain and realises he has pure evidence that she\u2019s a bit of a witch.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been hard to find when even the likes of Manpreet Sharma<\/a> (Rebecca Sarker<\/a>) thinks Dr Todd can do no wrong.<\/p>\n

She needs bringing down a peg or five<\/a>, and the perfect opportunity has just landed in Jacob\u2019s lap.<\/p>\n

But now what to do with said evidence? Act on it, and Jacob risks losing his whole medical degree. Ignore it and Jacob becomes scum for turning a blind eye to abuse.<\/p>\n

Good-hearted Jacob opts for the latter \u2013 risking his entire future to do the right thing and advocate for the patient. <\/p>\n

But Dr Todd has a wealth of experience, loyal colleagues, and an acid tongue. <\/p>\n

Jacob doesn\u2019t stand a chance, does he?<\/p>\n
