Jamie Laing<\/a> and Sophie Habboo<\/a> have had a busy year after welcoming their first child and renovating a home.<\/p>\n

The couple began dating in 2019, before announcing their engagement two years later.<\/p>\n

In 2023 they married in London, before having a second wedding in Marbella. In June 2025 they announced they were expecting their first child \u2013 with son Ziggy then coming in December last year.<\/p>\n

If their schedules weren\u2019t busy enough, the pair allowed camera\u2019s into their homes ahead of welcoming their son \u2013 with the result the new reality series Raising Chelsea.<\/p>\n

Released on April 2, the three-part series will follow them as they face the \u2018messy, scary and hilarious reality of becoming parents\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u2018Pregnancy begins with joy, before panic quickly sets in, as medical jargon, home renovations and family opinions pile up,\u2019 it\u2019s been teased of the show.<\/p>\n

But before tuning in, here\u2019s a glimpse inside the couple\u2019s home and recent renovations.<\/p>\n

Three months ago the couple announced the birth of their son, Ziggy<\/a>, in an adorable Instagram post, showing Jamie, 37, and Sophie, 31, cradling the newborn.<\/p>\n

Before this, the Made In Chelsea<\/a> stars were settling into their new West London townhouse which they purchased in 2024 for \u00a34.1million.<\/p>\n

Sharing a glimpse inside the property as they settle into parenthood, Sophie posted several snaps of their home on her Instagram<\/a> page.<\/p>\n

One picture showed the new mother breastfeeding her newborn, lying in bed, leaning against a tall brown headboard that perfectly matches the brown and white chequered tiles on the floor.<\/p>\n

She is also seen cradling the adorable bundle of joy standing under an archway, into what appears to be a bedroom.<\/p>\n

In another photo, Jamie can be seen sitting on a plush green sofa surrounded by cushions and blankets with his arm protectively around his son lying next to him.<\/p>\n

In an Instagram Story post, Sophie praised Jamie for \u2018making her breakfast every morning\u2019 in their expansive kitchen.<\/p>\n

A very festive photo saw Jamie cradling not their son, but two vases of flowers, with two more on the large dining table behind him.<\/p>\n

The cosy kitchen features candles, warm lighting, and several prints visible on the walls to make the muted colour scheme of the furniture pop.<\/p>\n

For Christmas, the kitchen played host to a huge tree decorated in large red bows and twinkling lights, ready for Ziggy\u2019s first Christmas.<\/p>\n

The NewlyWeds hosts have been documenting the process with fans and sharing glimpses into the building works on their vlog, The Laings.<\/p>\n

Sharing the happy news of their purchase with the Times<\/a> in May 2024, Jamie revealed: \u2018We\u2019ve been renting a two-bedroom apartment in Notting Hill for three years. I previously owned an apartment in Chelsea, but I found Chelsea boring.<\/p>\n

\u2018We also needed to move out because the flat had a history \u2013 Sophie didn\u2019t like the fact my ex-girlfriends had lived there.\u2019<\/p>\n

The couple bought the huge property in 2024<\/a> and have been busy overhauling it, including working with a designer to create their perfect kitchen, complete with the latest state-of-the-art appliances.<\/p>\n

But it turns out the renovation hasn\u2019t been as easy as expected, with Jamie listing a number of issues they\u2019ve encountered along the way.<\/p>\n

\u2018Turns out, when you renovate a house, there is always something to do with rotting windows, or there\u2019s a leak in the roof, or you\u2019ve got to remove the shed out of the back or mice chewing through the electrics,\u2019 he joked.<\/p>\n

\u2018Or our contractor needs more money!\u2019<\/p>\n

Finding the property wasn\u2019t easy either, with Sophie revealing she was \u2018desperate\u2019 to settle down in a quiet area with her husband.<\/p>\n

The presenter told MailOnline:<\/a> \u2018We are desperately looking to move into our family home.<\/p>\n

\u2018We are on the hunt\u2026 we are looking high and looking low. We can\u2019t find anything right now but we are actively looking, which is really exciting. Jamie and I are looking everywhere, we have no set place\u2026 it\u2019s a tough market out there.<\/p>\n

\u2018I want a bit of greenery, I want it to be a bit more residential, we\u2019re in a bit of a busy, party area right now and I want to move to where there\u2019s greenery around me and it\u2019s quiet and people are walking their dogs around me.\u2019<\/p>\n

She added: \u2018You do have to think about the future\u2026 I am getting excited about it, but nothing has been found yet.\u2019<\/p>\n

They worked with Jojo Barr of House Nine and Courtfield Construction to renovate the property and bring their vision for the home to life.<\/p>\n

Jamie and Sophie revealed last year that they\u2019ll be transforming their new basement into a media room, and their new garden will be fully landscaped to include plenty of roses as well as elderflower and lavender plants.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the London Evening Standard<\/a>, Habboo revealed a very personal room in the home based on one of Laing\u2019s biggest passions.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u2018Jamie wanted a golf simulator in the basement,\u2019 she teased. \u2018Luckily, we persuaded him that a cinema was a better idea.\u2019<\/p>\n

Laing continued: \u2018I grew up obsessed with films, so to have our own cinema, where we can curl up with popcorn \u2014 that is the dream.\u2019<\/p>\n

Jamie and Sophie wed in 2023<\/a>\u00a0after meeting on the E4 reality show, realising their mutual attraction in 2019.<\/p>\n

Jamie previously explained that they started off as \u2018best friends\u2019 before feelings of attraction began to develop three years into their friendship.<\/p>\n

He emphasised how much \u2018respect\u2019 they have for each other, despite their playful relationship.<\/p>\n

The pair\u00a0were engaged in 2021<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0got married in a low-key ceremony<\/a>\u00a0at Chelsea Registry Office in April 2023, surrounded by friends and family.<\/p>\n

Jamie celebrated with a simple post on Instagram<\/a> that read \u2018We got married!! England Wedding done now bring on Spain!!\u2019 <\/p>\n

They then jetted off to Villa Las Sirenas \u2013 in Spain, obviously \u2013 a month later to celebrate with a\u00a0second, more lavish, wedding ceremony<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Guests included former co-star Millie Mackintosh, Love Island\u2019s Zara McDermott\u00a0and Spencer Matthews.<\/p>\n
