Dillon Danis may be in for something of a surprise after it emerged that his comeback opponent did have a secret MMA fight before kicking off his boxing career.<\/p>\n
Warren Spencer is one of the rising stars of the Misfits Boxing<\/a> world, and is a close friend of controversial influencer Andrew Tate<\/a>. He made his boxing debut in 2023 against Aaron Chalmers, and has gone on to impress with performances against Ben Williams and NichLmao.<\/p>\n Now, Spencer has opted to head into an historic MMA<\/a> bout with Danis, which will take place inside a boxing ring on August 30. And while he is a massive underdog, it seems he may have a bit more experience than fans had known.<\/p>\n Dillon Danis\u2019 comeback opponent won secret MMA fight by first round KO<\/p>\n On April 16, 2023 Warren Spencer competed in an MMA bout on the Ultra MMA promotion in Chester. He took on fellow beginner Jake Johno, who also took part in an eight-week course that culminated in the pair meeting in the cage.<\/p>\n In a recent interview with the WADE Concept, Dillon Danis noted that he had seen Spencer compete in an MMA bout on YouTube. And after some digging, Bloody Elbow did find the full fight showing \u2018The Mechanic\u2019 dominating and defeating Johno, which sits on a small channel with only 1,725 views.<\/p>\n Worth noting in the two minutes of footage is the lack of time spent on the ground as both men stayed up looking for a finish. Spencer is clearly the more fluid combat athlete, and can be seen landing clean and forcing his rival to at times put up his arms in a desperate plea for mercy.<\/p>\n Eventually, with just under two minutes on the clock, the referee steps in and the camera cuts. The next footage is Spencer having his hand raised, with the result being revealed to have happened at some point in the first round.<\/p>\n Spencer has since gone on to boxing, where his skillset has shone on the CFN and Misfits Boxing promotions.<\/p>\n Dillon Danis is not threatened by Warren Spencer ahead of clash<\/p>\n Dillon Danis, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt who has sparred the likes of Conor McGregor<\/a> and Alex Pereira<\/a> during his career. He has been hindered by knee problems, but continues to train regularly and now gets the chance to fight on a big stage again after his 2-0 Bellator run.<\/p>\n \u201cMy manager was just like \u2018give me anybody at this point\u2019,\u201d Danis explained to host Wade Plemons. \u201cThey came back and said they\u2019ve got this guy 1-0 but the kid likes to say he\u2019s never fought. I honestly had no idea of anything about this dude.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s 1-0 in MMA so I was like \u2018listen just give me whoever\u2019 and they said him so I was like \u2018let\u2019s do it dude\u2019. We\u2019ll f\u2014 him up and just keep fighting.
