{"id":503389,"date":"2026-03-30T12:13:09","date_gmt":"2026-03-30T12:13:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/503389\/"},"modified":"2026-03-30T12:13:09","modified_gmt":"2026-03-30T12:13:09","slug":"super-league-disciplinary-with-leeds-rhinos-and-leigh-leopards-men-among-players-sweating-verdict","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/503389\/","title":{"rendered":"Super League disciplinary with Leeds Rhinos and Leigh Leopards men among players sweating verdict"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img width=\"2400\" height=\"1600\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/AW6_3087-2.jpg\" class=\"attachment- size- wp-post-image\" alt=\"\" decoding=\"async\" fetchpriority=\"high\"  \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>Round six of Super League has concluded but several players will still be nervously awaiting today\u2019s disciplinary verdict.<\/p>\n<p>It was an action-packed round that produced a number of upsets with the biggest of those being Huddersfield <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seriousaboutrl.com\/rugby-league-news-huddersfield-giants-coach-gives-verdict-on-bittersweet-victory-over-wigan-warriors-as-club-claim-first-super-league-win-113929\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Giants earning a first win of the season away to Wigan<\/a> Warriors, despite sacking Luke Robinson in the week\u2019s build-up.<\/p>\n<p>Fellow unbeaten side Warrington Wolves also lost their invincible record as Leeds Rhinos saw them off, whilst there was drama at the Leigh Sports Village on Saturday when the Leopards sacrificed a 20-0 lead only to win 21-20 after golden point.<\/p>\n<p>Victors Leeds and Leigh could well have players who are sweating today\u2019s disciplinary verdict though with players potentially at risk of bans for the upcoming round of Super League, Rivals Round.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve looked at all the players who could be facing a charge at today\u2019s Match Review Panel.<\/p>\n<p>Who will be sweating today\u2019s Super League disciplinary verdict?<\/p>\n<p>One of the more obvious sweats is Leigh Leopards\u2019 Ryan Brown with the young forward receiving a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seriousaboutrl.com\/rugby-league-news-leigh-leopards-v-toulouse-olympique-talking-points-113928\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">yellow card for a professional foul<\/a> against Toulouse Olympique.<\/p>\n<p>Toulouse full-back Olly Ashall-Bott caught a kick with one foot in his in-goal meaning he was free to run to the 20-metre line for a restart, however, Brown seemingly did not realise and tackled the unassuming full-back leading to a scuffle and a sin bin for Brown.<\/p>\n<p>A similar incident had happened earlier that day in the NRL with a sin bin also distributed but it\u2019s now to be seen if further action is taken.<\/p>\n<p>Another professional foul sin bin came for Max Jowitt with the Trinity full-back kicking the ball out of Will Dagger\u2019s hands as the York man tried to score, resulting in a yellow to the protests of Jowitt and his captain Mike McMeeken. That will certainly be looked at further by the Match Review Panel.<\/p>\n<p>So too will Jack Bird\u2019s shot on Toby King as referee Jack <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seriousaboutrl.com\/rugby-league-news-leeds-rhinos-v-warrington-wolves-talking-points-113948\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Smith placed it on report<\/a> at the time meaning the former NRL man could be sweating today\u2019s verdict.
