Qareqare combined well with centre Krystian Mapapalangi for all three of his scores, whilst Burgess scored three, grabbed an assist and ran for 164 metres with three clean breaks.

Centres: Jacob Gagai (Huddersfield Giants) and Krystian Mapapalangi (Castleford Tigers)

Gagai bagged a try and an assist for Huddersfield in their win over Wigan Warriors, and was a constant threat on the left edge. Originally coming to the club as a full-back, he was moved to the wing before seemingly finding his best role in the centres.

As mentioned above, Mapapalangi was incredible in helping Jason Qareqare bag a hat-trick with the centre’s dynamic running and the way he engaged the line causing trouble for Bradford’s right edge all night long.

Halves: Mikey Lewis (Hull KR) and Adam Clune (Huddersfield Giants)

Hat-trick man Lewis makes the side yet again, after not only scoring three but assisting a further three as well. Making 122 metres, KR needed this victory after defeat at Catalans and Lewis stepped up to deliver a convincing win over the Red Vee

The Giants half-back made a stunning injury return, and in his final moments before being subbed off finished off a brilliant team move as they attacked from deep to open up the Warriors defence.

Props: Xavier Va’a (York Knights) and Mike McMeeken (Wakefield Trinity)

It might have been in vain as York lost the game but Xavier Va’a put in a performance that highlighted exactly why York signed him with the prop making a whopping 158 metres whilst also racking up 27 tackles as the most effective of York’s pack.

On the other side, Mike McMeeken made 33 tackles and over 100 metres with the England international a standout once again for Trinity.

Hooker: Jez Litten (Hull KR)

Heading into the season there was a clear consensus that Jez Litten was the best nine in Super League and he continues to prove that with Rovers’ speed on Friday night in large part down to Litten, who also bagged himself a try.

Back-row: James Batchelor (Hull KR) and James Bell (Hull FC)

Batchelor was another of Hull KR’s try-scorers but it was the second-rower’s intensity that earns him a spot here with his efforts in defence helping thwart St Helens’ pack.

On the other side of the city on Saturday, it was James Bell who stood out for Hull FC with the former St Helens’ man being a creative outlet on the left edge as he bagged two assists whilst also making almost 100 metres on just eight carries.

Loose Forward: Cameron Smith (Leeds Rhinos)

The Rhinos might have seen Maika Sivo score another hat-trick but they won the game against Warrington down the middle and one of those middles who put in a huge shift with Cameron Smith, racking up 47 tackles and not missing one of them. He also added 108 metres in hard carries as he showcased what Leeds will lose in 2027.

That’s a wrap on #SuperLeague‘s Birthday Round 🎊 pic.twitter.com/m95tASmb0o

— Betfred Super League (@SuperLeague) March 29, 2026

Round six of Super League sprung up some entertaining matches and some shock results, none more so than…

[35
5903,101,56,54,55
0":"post-503556","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-rugby","8":"tag-rugby","9":"tag-sports","10":"tag-uk","11":"tag-united-kingdom","12":"tag-unitedkingdom
["GET
