Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Hollyoaks has released its spring trailer for 2026, and it’s jam-packed full of drama including the return of Clare Devine. Gemma Bissix’s iconic villain returned from the not-so dead last year, unmasked as the mastermind behind the human trafficking operation.

She then faked cancer to elicit sympathy, revealed that Rex Gallagher is Grace Black’s son, and caused death and destruction in the anniversary week plane crash.

But now she’s escaped from prison, and she’s not only targeting grandfather Froggy Black, but also Sienna Blake.

Speaking of Sienna, it looks like her relationship with Cleo McQueen might be hitting the rocks due to accusations of manipulation, and Cleo getting very close with Dodger – something his other half Theresa isn’t happy about either!

There’s also the introduction of the new Keane family (with some familiar soap faces), and Charlie Dean and Vicky Grant helping Frankie Osborne move to London. They may seem like separate storylines, but they collide in a major way – with a classic crash stunt!

That leads into the trailer’s biggest surprise: that new character Beth is none other than Jack’s daughter.

Beyond that, we see that Ste Hay is not reacting well to learning that his fiancé Rex is currently experimenting with his gender identity, and ends up in bed with none other than James Nightingale.

And on a serious final note, there’s plenty of heartbreak for Hutchinson family as Diane’s terminal cancer diagnosis really starts to hit home for Ant, while Diane herself tries her best to find someone to raise her kids when she’s gone…

Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
