{"id":503846,"date":"2026-03-30T18:01:11","date_gmt":"2026-03-30T18:01:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/503846\/"},"modified":"2026-03-30T18:01:11","modified_gmt":"2026-03-30T18:01:11","slug":"reform-mp-locked-out-of-office-after-defection-loses-court-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/503846\/","title":{"rendered":"Reform MP locked out of office after defection loses court case"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Adam Richardson, for the MP, told the court in written submissions that the agreement to use the building saw monthly payments of around \u00a31,250 in return for exclusive use of an office at the site and full access for Mr Rosindell and his staff.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">After the defection, the association said the agreement for him to use the building was invalid and later changed the locks without notice, with Mr Rosindell&#8217;s staff only allowed to retrieve work items under supervision.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Richardson said: &#8220;The proper course would have been to seek possession through the court.
