{"id":503911,"date":"2026-03-30T18:59:09","date_gmt":"2026-03-30T18:59:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/503911\/"},"modified":"2026-03-30T18:59:09","modified_gmt":"2026-03-30T18:59:09","slug":"this-week-for-the-saints","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/503911\/","title":{"rendered":"This week for the Saints"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"194\">The traditional Good Friday Derby against Wigan Warriors headlines a packed schedule, whilst our Under 16s, Reserves, and Women\u2019s sides are also all in action across the week.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"194\">Find out the key details for all four games below.<\/p>\n<p>WEDNESDAY<br \/>\nScholarship vs Leigh Leopards (H)<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"61\" data-end=\"209\">Our Under 16s continue their 2026 campaign on Wednesday evening, returning to home soil to face Leigh Leopards.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"211\" data-end=\"415\">After opening their season with an 18-18 draw against Wigan Warriors last week, the young Saints will be looking to build on that performance and secure their first win of the year.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"417\" data-end=\"595\">The Scholarship season consists of eight matches, split evenly between home and away fixtures, with home games that are played at the BrewDog Stadium FREE for 2026 Saints Members.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday, 1st April 2026<br \/>\nKick-off at 6:30pm<br \/>\nBrewDog Stadium<\/p>\n<p>FRIDAY<br \/>\nFirst Team vs Wigan Warriors (H)<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"61\" data-end=\"220\">Paul Rowley\u2019s side return to home action on Friday afternoon for the traditional Good Friday derby against fierce rivals Wigan Warriors.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"222\" data-end=\"425\">Widely regarded as the biggest fixture of the season, the clash is already a sell-out, with a packed BrewDog Stadium set to provide an electric atmosphere for one of rugby league\u2019s most iconic rivalries.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"427\" data-end=\"546\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">With both pride and crucial points on the line, Saints will be aiming to rise to the occasion in front of a full house.<\/p>\n<p>Friday, 3rd April 2026<br \/>\nKick-off at 3pm<br \/>\nBrewDog Stadium<br \/>\nThis match is now SOLD OUT \u2013 there are no more tickets available.
