Joshua Zirkzee has been one of the losers of Michael Carrick\u2019s arrival at Man Utd, but he says the club still has something that he hasn\u2019t ever witnessed before. <\/p>\n

The upcoming summer will make it two years since Joshua Zirkzee<\/a> arrived at Man Utd<\/a> as the first summer signing of the Ineos era. <\/p>\n

Two seasons later, the verdict is decidedly mixed<\/a> on his tenure at Old Trafford<\/a>, but his desire and professionalism can\u2019t be questioned<\/a>. <\/p>\n

He will especially endear himself to Man Utd fans<\/a> with his latest comments, singling out United for something that no other club provides. <\/p>\n

There\u2019s a reason why United manage to attract top players to the club and beat their rivals to their signatures despite having some of their worst PL seasons in recent years.<\/p>\n

The mystique and the history of the club are unparalleled in English football and rivalled by only a select few in world football. <\/p>\n

A key pillar of that mystique is Old Trafford, something which has Zirkzee in awe even after two years of being a part of the furniture at the club.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Man Utd\u2019s official media<\/a>, he said: \u201cI don\u2019t think there\u2019s anything like it. When they start singing \u2018United Road\u2019 before the game, and you\u2019re just like, even if you\u2019re playing a match, you sometimes just look around, and you\u2019re like \u2018f****** hell, I\u2019m playing in Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s very special, you can just feel it. It\u2019s a hard feeling to explain, but it\u2019s just this type of energy, aura that hangs around the stadium with the history, the great players that have been in this club.\u201d<\/p>\n

Zirkzee could be dropping transfer future hints <\/p>\n

This campaign hasn\u2019t been the best for Zirkzee<\/a> as he\u2019s been hit the hardest by United having historically few games in a season.<\/p>\n

WHICH player do Manchester United NEED to sell this summer? <\/p>\n

Manuel Ugarte? Joshua Zirkzee? Mason Mount?<\/p>\n

He rarely even comes off the bench<\/a> anymore, even if he looks good in his cameos<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As a result, he\u2019s all but set to miss the World Cup<\/a>, which is a killer blow to any player\u2019s career. <\/p>\n

However, Zirkzee also seems to be mature enough to realise how much of an exception this season is, because United will be back in four competitions next season.<\/p>\n

The club could do a lot worse than having Zirkzee as a squad player because he\u2019s someone whose skill set isn\u2019t found elsewhere in the squad, and he\u2019s a valuable dressing room presence<\/a>. <\/p>\n

In fact, his game might suit playing against European sides in the Champions League (hopefully!), and he can continue to shadow Benjamin Sesko so he doesn\u2019t suffer from the same fate as Rasmus Hojlund.<\/p>\n

After all, if there\u2019s no other feeling like playing at Old Trafford, why would you want to lose it?<\/p>\n
