She has played three events since retiring from her match against <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/tennis\/2026\/01\/27\/elina-svitolina-firepower-australian-open-semifinal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Elina Svitolina<\/a> at the Dubai Tennis Championships. Day produced some good tennis in Indian Wells, but she is inconsistent as well as not possessing significant firepower to hurt Badosa.
