The NHS boss has said he is ‘really worried’ about medicine supply issues as a result of rising costs and supply disruption linked to the war in Iran.<\/p>\n
NHS<\/a> England chief executive Sir Jim Mackey was asked about medicine shortages during a phone-in on LBC Radio. The caller asked what contingency planning is in place in the NHS because ‘the UK imports 75 per cent of its medicine’.<\/p>\n Sir Jim replied: “We are really worried about this.
