Now Apple has started plugging the hole, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wired.com\/story\/apple-will-push-out-rare-backported-patches-to-protect-ios-18-users-from-darksword-hacking-tool\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">according to Wired<\/a>\u2014no update to the dreaded Liquid Glass aesthetic needed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">This all concerns DarkSword, a <a href=\"https:\/\/cloud.google.com\/blog\/topics\/threat-intelligence\/darksword-ios-exploit-chain\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">deeply scary exploit<\/a> that sounds like it can really ruin your week. If you\u2019re an iPhone user with an unpatched older version of iOS, just browsing an infected site can install spyware on your device that can access your personal data and potentially steal your money and crypto.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cIf you have kept your iPhone software up to date, then you are already protected,\u201d says an <a href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/en-us\/126776\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">update from Apple about the exploit<\/a>. \u201cIf your iPhone has an older version of iOS, update to protect your data,\u201d it continues.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">But some people hate the latest iOS and its headache-inducing glass-like bubbles.
