\n Police were called to the Orbital shopping centre on Tuesday, March 31 following concerns for the welfare of a person ‘undergoing a mental health crisis.’\n<\/p>\n
\n According to one person shopping at the Orbital, emergency service vehicles could be seen at around 3pm, with crews at the scene for at least an hour.\n<\/p>\n

\n Since then, 22-year-old Lauren Bulley, of Renoir Close, St Andrews Ridge, has been charged with possession of a sharp pointed article in a public place and intentionally or recklessly causing a public nuisance, in relation to this incident.\n<\/p>\n
\n Bulley has been accused of being in possession of a dermaplane razor and entering the roof area of the shopping centre without reasonable excuse.\n<\/p>\n
\n The 22-year-old has also been charged with two counts of wilful obstruction of a highway, relating to separate incidents on the A419.\n<\/p>\n
\n A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: \u201cWe responded to a concern for the welfare of a person undergoing a mental health crisis at the Orbital shopping centre in Swindon.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cThe incident has been resolved safely and they are being given appropriate support.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: \u201cWe were called at 14:27hrs on Tuesday 31 March to an incident in Swindon. We sent one double-crewed land ambulance, and an operations officer to the scene.\n<\/p>\n
