Hollyoaks has confirmed the fate of evil Connor ‘Sully’ Sullivan, as the criminal faces his plea hearing for his many horrible acts, including raping Donny Clark.

The latest episode began with Donny worrying about whether he was going to go to the hearing or not.

“If I can’t face Sully today, what am I gonna do when this case goes to trial? That weasel’s gonna plead not guilty, and if we can’t prove that he did it, he’ll walk free,” he stressed.

Misbah Maalik, who got engaged to Donny again last night, comforted him and said that he was ready to face Sully.

Spurred on by her words, he headed down to court to meet with Dodger Savage and face Sully head-on.

As the villain arrived, handcuffed and escorted by police, Donny confronted him and told him that he was moving on from the pain and the hurt.

“I wanted to see you, because I’ve been running away from what happened,” he said.

“The shame, the guilt. It sent me under. I felt broken. I hated you so much. I hated myself. I almost lost all of my family. But guess what, Sully? Despite everything, the people that I love stuck by me. You see, you didn’t break me.”

He added: “So whatever happens next, I’ll be OK. I’ll always have the love of my family and friends. Whereas you, have nothing. I don’t hate you anymore, Sully. I feel sorry for you.”

And it turned out that what happened next was a good thing, as Sully pled guilty.

In The Dog, Donny and Dodgy shared the good news and said that they had saved each other.

However, the good news was interrupted when Donny took a phone call from an unknown caller that had him immediately depart the pub. He headed straight to the prison’s visitor room and met up with none other than Clare Devine.

Evil Clare told Donny that she could make “one call and Sully stops breathing” and tried to seduce him with promises of the two of them starting a new life together, but he told her that she could “rot in here”.

Clare has no intention of rotting away in jail, and somehow managed to escape, leading to a potentially fatal cliffhanger…

Hollyoaks is continuing to work closely with We Are Survivors to tell Dodger and Donny’s story, an organisation that supports male survivors of sexual abuse, rape and sexual exploitation across Greater Manchester and throughout England and Wales.
