\n\t\u201cRiverdale<\/a>\u201d and \u201cForbidden Fruits<\/a>\u201d actor Lili Reinhart<\/a> recently took part in a video interview for Cosmopolitan magazine and revealed that a male director once told her to \u201csuck in her stomach a little bit\u201d in between takes. Reinhart did not reveal the male director\u2019s name. <\/p>\n

\n\tJoined by her \u201cForbidden Fruits\u201d co-stars Lola Tung, Victoria Pedretti and Alexandra Shipp, Reinhart was asked to name the \u201cacting note that she took personally.\u201d She did not hesitate to answer: \u201cWhen I had a male director come up to me and silently lean over and go, \u2018Just suck in your stomach a little bit.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe revelation prompted gasps from the \u201cForbidden Fruit\u201d casts, with Pedretti saying: \u201cOh my God. What is his name? And what is his address?\u201d Tung shouted: \u2018Time for a hex! Time for hex!\u2019 When Reinhart said she would tell her castmates the director\u2019s name later in private, Shipp urged: \u201cSay his name!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tReinhart has spoken openly over the years about her battle with body dysmorphia. She developed an eating disorder as a result while playing Betty Cooper on The CW\u2019s \u201cRiverdale.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI really don\u2019t like looking at season six imagery or pictures, because I know that 99% of my thoughts were about my body,\u201d she told Self Magazine<\/a> last year.\u00a0\u201cI was a thousand percent just disassociated through that entire day or scene because my entire inner dialogue is just \u2026 \u2018Your body\u2019s changing.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tShe made headlines in 2023 for posting on X: \u201cI wish there were more average-sized arms represented in mainstream media for women. My body dysmorphia has been going crazy because I feel like my arms need to be half the size they are currently. We\u2019ve glamorized these skinny arms that, for most of us, can only be achieved if you\u2019re a literal adolescent.\u201d<\/p>\n
