A McDonald’s restaurant in Liverpool has closed its doors temporarily. The restaurant on Liverpool Shopping Park, Edge Lane<\/a>, is currently closed for a refurbishment and is expected to reopen later in the year.<\/p>\n A McDonald\u2019s<\/a> spokesperson told the ECHO<\/a>: “Our Edge Lane restaurant is currently undergoing a refurbishment as part of our Convenience of the Future programme. The revamp will improve the experience of both our customers and our restaurant team, and we look forward to welcoming our customers back in early October.”<\/p>\n The nearest stores to the Edge Lane site are Kensington, Queens Drive and Ranelagh Street.<\/p>\n On its website, McDonald’s says: “Convenience of the Future programme is an exciting, large-scale programme that will see us reimagine our entire restaurant estate and make our customers\u2019 McDonald\u2019s experience quicker, easier and more convenient than ever before.<\/p>\n “It will also ensure we create an even better environment for our hardworking crew, both when they\u2019re on and off shift.”<\/p>\n The Liverpool Lord Street restaurant was closed in January for a renovation.
