Juventus now have a plan in mind to execute if they pursue a summer transfer swoop for Manuel Ugarte from Manchester United, according to reports in Italy.<\/p>\n

Manuel Ugarte has recently been linked with Juventus<\/a> and the Old Lady have been long-term admirers of the 24-year-old Uruguayan defensive midfielder.<\/p>\n

The Uruguay international has been left fighting for Manchester United first-team<\/a> minutes at the Premier League club in the 2025-26 campaign at Old Trafford<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ugarte<\/a>, who has been away on international duty with Uruguay, has been unable to consistently start for the Red Devils under Ruben Amorim<\/a> or Michael Carrick<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Manuel Ugarte has only managed one Premier League start in six matches under interim boss Michael Carrick since Ruben Amorim was axed from Manchester United<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to Tuttosport<\/a>, Juventus would pursue a loan with an option to buy for Ugarte in the summer and the deal would \u2018hinge\u2019 on Man Utd agreeing to the terms.<\/p>\n

However, the Old Lady would not be willing to pay the forgotten United<\/a> midfielder\u2019s entire wages during the whole of the 2026-27 campaign if a loan deal were agreed.<\/p>\n

United are believed to be valuing Juventus-linked Ugarte<\/a> between \u00a325m and \u00a329m amid interest from Premier League sides Newcastle United and Aston Villa.<\/p>\n

The Italian newspaper claims that there is an \u2018excellent relationship\u2019 between Jorge Mendes and Damien Comolli amid Juventus\u2019 interest in Ugarte at the moment<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, Juventus\u2019 reported interest in the ex-Paris Saint-Germain and Sporting CP midfielder is not as strong as it once was amid uncertainty around Ugarte\u2019s future.<\/p>\n

It has been claimed that Ugarte is no longer deemed a \u2018priority today\u2019 for Juventus, despite the Old Lady\u2019s desire to potentially make a move for him.<\/p>\n
