Glasgow’s peregrine falcon family<\/a> is heading into an exciting stage this spring, with mum Bonnie laying four new eggs. With 2026 nesting season having officially begun, parents Bonnie and Clyde will hopefully welcome new eyas (chicks) to the family in the next few weeks.<\/p>\n The falcon parents, who have been together since 2021, welcomed chicks Jack and Victor <\/a>into the world last year, though Jack sadly passed away and Victor grew up to fly the nest.<\/p>\n This year brings a new opportunity for Bonnie and Clyde to raise more offspring- and it seems they’re off to a flying start.<\/p>\n From March 18 to March 25, Bonnie laid a total of four eggs, which will go through an incubation period over the next few weeks before they hopefully hatch.<\/p>\n It’s an exciting time for Bonnie and Clyde(Image: Glasgow City Council)<\/p>\n A ‘peregrine cam’ has been installed at their nesting place on the City Chambers spire so the council can keep up to date with their feathered tenants.<\/p>\n Glasgow City Council has been documenting the falcons’ journey through their dedicated website<\/a> page, and congratulated Bonnie for her excellent egg laying on social media yesterday (April 1).<\/p>\n The announcement on X read: “Since we last saw her, Bonnie\u2019s been busy – she\u2019s only gone and laid FOUR eggs!<\/p>\n “Over the next 22\u201323 incubation days, we\u2019ll be watching closely!”<\/p>\n Content cannot be displayed without consent<\/p>\n![\"It's](\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/0_Falcon-2.jpg\")
