The Galaxy Z Wide Fold is expected to differ significantly from existing Galaxy Z Fold devices, as it could feature a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sammobile.com\/news\/breaking-heres-the-wide-galaxy-z-fold-you-always-wanted\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">much wider foldable display<\/a>. Now, One UI 9 has revealed more details about it.\n<\/p>\n<p>We accessed the firmware file for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sammobile.com\/news\/wider-galaxy-z-fold-8-variant-release-globally\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">SM-F971B<\/a>, which is expected to be the Galaxy Z Wide Fold. Within the firmware, we found images that hint at the device\u2019s display aspect ratio. Based on these visuals, the foldable screen appears to have a 4:3 aspect ratio. This suggests that the Galaxy Z Wide Fold will offer a noticeably wider viewing area than existing Galaxy Z Fold devices.\n<\/p>\n<p>This also brings its aspect ratio closer to that of the Galaxy Z TriFold. A wider screen could improve the experience when viewing photos and videos, making it more practical than earlier Galaxy Z Fold models.
