Beyond Paradise season 4, episode 2, sees guest stars from Downton Abbey, Poldark and Outlander join line-up\"BEYOND<\/p>\n

Beyond Paradise<\/a> made its return to BBC One and BBC iPlayer last week.<\/p>\n

As per tradition, the main cast will be accompanied by a host of guest stars throughout the fourth series<\/a>. The inaugural episode welcomed Michael Cochrane, Andrea Lowe, Alex Macqueen and Vincent Franklin to the ensemble<\/a>, while the second episode will feature Downton Abbey’s Raquel Cassidy, Poldark’s Tristan Sturrock, and Outlander’s Colin McFarlane.<\/p>\n

Series 4, shot in Devon and Cornwall<\/a>, sees DI Humphrey Goodman, portrayed by Kris Marshall, and his team revisit Shipton Abbot to unravel fresh mysteries and perplexing cases.<\/p>\n

Guest stars will join the regular cast each episode. Returning members include Sally Bretton as Martha, Zahra Ahmadi as DS Esther Williams, Dylan Llewellyn as PC Kelby Hartford, Barbara Flynn as Anne Lloyd, and Felicity Montagu as Margo Martins. Raquel portrays June, who is left rattled after her home is turned upside down. Audiences may recognise Raquel from her role as Miss Baxter in Downton Abbey.<\/p>\n

She’s also known for her roles as Miss Hardbroom in The Worst Witch, Mel in Lead Balloon, Nancy Weeks in Moving Wallpaper and Susan Gately in Teachers.<\/p>\n

Raquel has also appeared in Strangers, The Good Karma Hospital and Van der Valk among numerous other productions.<\/p>\n

Tristan Sturrock as Clive Harris\"Tristan<\/p>\n

Tristan portrays Dr Clive Harris and June’s husband. He is most recognised for his portrayal of Zacky Martin in BBC’s Poldark from 2015 to 2019, while audiences will also know Tristan from his performance in Bad Girls as Colin Hedges and Doc Martin where he appeared as Danny Steel.<\/p>\n

His credits also include Truelove, Malpractice, Tracks and Liverpool 1. Most recently, he featured in an episode of Industry as Percy Coulson.<\/p>\n

Colin McFarlane as Roger Franklin\"Colin<\/p>\n

Colin takes on the role of Dr Roger Franklin, a competitor of Clive’s. Colin is well-versed in television work, having appeared on screen since 1985. His early television credits include The Fast Show and Hounded.<\/p>\n

Audiences will know Colin for his portrayal of Ulysses in Outlander, General Austin Pierce in the Doctor Who spin-off The War Between the Land and the Sea, and Chief Superintendent Cunningham in Piglets. Coronation Street enthusiasts may recall his appearance as Mr Jordan in 2010.<\/p>\n

Colin is perhaps most recognised in cinema for his role as Commissioner Gillian B. Loeb in Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins (2005) and The Dark Knight (2008). Outside of acting, Colin undertakes voiceover work and has lent his voice to characters on Dennis the Menace, Bob the Builder, Chuggington, Thomas and Friends, Fireman Sam and numerous others.<\/p>\n

Beyond Paradise season 4, episode 2 also features Gina Bramhill, recognised for The Flatshare and Brief Encounters, as Amelia, and Everything Now star Noah Thomas as Adam Walsh.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Emily Stott, recognised for Foundation and Riot Women, alongside EastEnders actor Teddy Jay, portray Amy and Sam, who are patients under Clive’s care.<\/p>\n
