This weekend\u2019s boxing tips:<\/p>\n

9pm\u00a0Saturday: Lauren Price v Stephanie Pineiro Aquino \u2013 Price to win in Round 1-5<\/a> *All prices are bang up to date with our snazzy widgets, while odds in copy are accurate at time of publishing but subject to change.<\/p>\n In only nine professional fights Price has gone from Olympic gold medallist to unified welterweight champion of the world, but the really impressive thing is that as her opponents have got better, so have her performances. She was impeccable in beating Natasha Jonas last year, and next up is Pineiro at the Cardiff International Arena.<\/p>\n The Puerto Rican challenger, 35, is a good fighter with an unbeaten record, but her ambition to win might be her undoing. Price, 31, only has two KO wins, but one was in her second-to-last fight, and both came in the first five rounds. There are huge odds for Price to finish this early and it\u2019s well worth a punt.<\/p>\n Riley v Masternak \u2013\u00a0Masternak Points of Decision <\/p>\n Unbeaten London cruiserweight Riley has made steady progress since his debut in 2018, but his record is still paper thin in terms of recognised opponents. That all changes this weekend as he faces former world title challenger Masternak for the European belt at O2.<\/p>\n Masternak\u2019s biggest nights have all been on the road \u2013 he\u2019s been in with Chris Billam-Smith, Tony Bellew and Yuniel Dorticos, but he came up short against all three of those champions. His best wins were at domestic level, over Mikael Lawal and Cheavon Clarke, but he couldn\u2019t stop either.<\/p>\n This contest is a clash of styles \u2013 the solid European fundamentals and 56-fight experience of Masternak, 38, versus the fluid and fast Riley, 28. I can\u2019t see Viddal nailing the Pole to the canvas, so I think it\u2019s going the distance, and I have to back the big price on Masternak to get the nod.<\/p>\n Wilder v Chisora \u2013\u00a0Wilder to win In Round 7-12<\/p>\n Wilder and Chisora have been entertaining us for years, but despite moving in similar circles, these two old heavyweight sluggers have never met \u2013 until now! Just a few years ago, Wilder would have been a huge favourite, but now he\u2019s the underdog in the headline fight at the O2.<\/p>\n Wilder, 40, has lost four of his last six contests, but that includes two defeats to a prime Tyson Fury and a points loss to former champ Joseph Parker. The knockout loss to Zhilei Zhang in 2024 was the sign to most people that he\u2019s finished at top 10, or even top 20, level but he came back with a knockout win in June 2025.<\/p>\n Chisora, 42, has been on a far more impressive run on paper \u2013 he\u2019s won four of his last five bouts including wins over Joe Joyce and Kubrat Pulev. If you look at the results a bit more closely though, you see how Joyce, Pulev and other opponents are around 40 or older, so they were all well on the decline.<\/p>\n Talk of the one-punch power of Wilder against the suffocating pressure of Chisora is a pretty fair summary. Even at Wilder\u2019s peak he could be behind on points before detonating one massive shot, and Chisora has managed to out-work and bully his last three opponents in decision wins.<\/p>\n With Chisora having not won by KO since 2019 and Wilder having incredible grit, I can\u2019t see a Chisora stoppage win. When Wilder hasn\u2019t been knocked out, he\u2019s won 43 times by KO, won once on points, lost once on points and drawn one. The Alabama banger really has freakish power.<\/p>\n I expect big punches to be thrown, but I think these vets will fall into a tired hugging match after not too long. \u2018War\u2019 Chisora will try to smoother \u2018The Bronze Bomber\u2019 and work him over, but I just don\u2019t think he\u2019ll have the fitness and focus to stay out of harm\u2019s way \u2013 my pick is a late stoppage win for Wilder.<\/p>\n Dubois v Harper \u2013\u00a0Dubois\u00a0to win In Round 1-5<\/p>\n Dubois and Harper both own a piece of the world lightweight crown and there\u2019s been plenty of animosity in the build-up to this unification clash between British rivals. The event at the Olympia in Kensington also features world title fights for Ellie Scotney and Chantelle Cameron, but I\u2019m confident the performance of the night is coming in this one.<\/p>\n Dubois, 25, has not knocked out anyone for three years, but the southpaw carries power. Harper, 29, is a fine fighter and three weight world champion, but when she\u2019s faced true world class opponents she unravelled, losing twice in round 4.
