Boxing promoter Kalle Sauerland has claimed that Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury is \u201cdone\u201d with a date and venue secured.<\/p>\n

After over a year out of the ring, Fury<\/a> is set to end his latest spell of retirement on April 11 as he returns to face Arslanbek Makhmudov<\/a> at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.<\/p>\n

Of course, with Fury back in the picture, rumours surrounding his future have been rife, with a blockbuster battle of Britain against https:\/\/www.sportbible.com\/anthony-joshua said to be in the works.<\/p>\n

In fact, it has been claimed on several occasions that the fight is already signed and will take place later this year, but the exact details are yet to be confirmed.<\/p>\n

However, according to Sauerland, the date and venue for the fight has already been decided, and it’s not at all what fans would expect.<\/p>\n

That’s because, rather than staging the fight between the two biggest British fighters of this generation in Britain, Sauerland has claimed that the pair will clash in Dublin this autumn.<\/p>\n

\u201cAJ-Fury, I\u2019ve heard it\u2019s done for Dublin later this year, so I think that will get announced pretty soon,\u201d he told The Stomping Ground<\/a><\/p>\n

Later speaking to iFL TV<\/a>, he added: “Fury-AJ, done for apparently autumn in Dublin, fantastic. That\u2019s what I\u2019ve heard, done for Dublin, I think September or October. I don\u2019t know, have I put my foot in it [by revealing that]? That\u2019s what I\u2019ve heard, word on the street.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although we know that Fury will return in London to face Makhmudov, it is not yet known when Joshua will come back after he was involved car accident in December, that tragically killed two of his teammates.<\/a><\/p>\n

In recent weeks, the two-time heavyweight champion has been training with former foe and current champion Oleksandr Usyk, ahead of a return that promoter Eddie Hearn has hinted could come in the summer.<\/p>\n

Many expect that Joshua’s return would be a warm-up fight before fighting Fury later in the year, a theory that could line up with Sauerland’s claims should ‘AJ’ be prepared for a relatively quick turnaround.<\/p>\n

But one thing is clear, regardless of the result against Makhmudov, Fury will not be on the microphone pushing for a fight with his fellow Brit, having previously sent him his best following the heartbreaking car crash.<\/p>\n

“Boxing rivalry is one thing, but humanity and human life is another,” Fury told BBC Sport<\/a> in February.<\/p>\n

“In this comeback tour I haven’t mentioned AJ one time, I’ve only wished him all the best.<\/p>\n

“If the lad wants to come back boxing, fantastic for him, and if he doesn’t, he’s done marvellous. Congratulations.”<\/p>\n
