A Glasgow waiter says he is feeling \u201coverwhelmed\u201d and \u201cso grateful\u201d following his successful audition on STV\u2019s Britain\u2019s Got Talent.<\/p>\n

Matty Juniosa impressed judges and audiences with his rendition of Prince\u2019s hit song \u201cPurple Rain\u201d, earning a Golden Buzzer from Simon Cowell and sending him straight through to the semi-finals.<\/p>\n

The part-time waiter delivered a powerful performance of the classic track to impress the judges and leave the stage covered in gold confetti.<\/p>\n

Matty told STV News that he is still coming to terms with his success on stage.<\/p>\n

\u201cHonestly, the minute that I stepped on to that stage, it was all a blur. I can\u2019t remember what happened \u2013 even watching it back I was a little shocked. I was like: \u201cThat\u2019s me? Who is that?\u201d<\/p>\n

Matty says he has been singing since childhood and has worked hard to reach this point.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m feeling quite overwhelmed, I\u2019m not going to lie, because it has been a crazy shift since Saturday, but I\u2019m so grateful, so filled with gratitude. Every inch of hard work, every bit of blood, sweat and tears has been worth it.\u201d<\/p>\n

He says his appearance on the show is about more than just music, with one important goal driving him forward.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just want to be able to hopefully allow my mum to stop working now, that\u2019s one of my first dreams but the second big dream is to honestly just take on the world, like make music!\u201d<\/p>\n
