But individual yellows that don’t result in a red can no longer affect the Gunners in the Premier League this season.

<img decoding="async" width="1000" height="640" loading="lazy" src="https://www.newsbeep.com/uk/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/manchester-city-v-wolverhampton-wanderers-premier-league-2.jpg" alt="Bernardo Silva of Manchester City reacts after no penalty was given by referee Farai Hallam during the Premier League match between Manchester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers at Etihad Stadium on January 24, 2026 in Manchester, England. Given City have only played 30 matches so far (with Silva appearing in all 30), Silva has two games left to earn his 10th yellow and a two-game suspension.

Silva should be particularly wary of a booking during City’s next Premier League match against Chelsea, as a yellow would see him missing out on the visit from Arsenal the following weekend.

If Silva is instead booked against Arsenal themselves, he would miss City’s matches away to Burnley and Everton.

City’s next closest players are Gianluigi Donnarumma and Nico Gonzalez. But given both only have six yellows, they’ve already avoided suffering yellow-card suspensions this season.

<img decoding="async" width="1024" height="683" loading="lazy" src="https://www.newsbeep.com/uk/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/manchester-city-v-newcastle-united-carabao-cup-semi-final-second-leg-1024x683.jpg" alt="MANCHESTER, ENGLAND - FEBRUARY 04: Bernardo Silva of Manchester City looks on in the stands prior to the Carabao Cup Semi Final Second Leg match between Manchester City and Newcastle United at Etihad Stadium on February 04, 2026 in Manchester, England.
