It\u2019s becoming increasingly obvious that Sony is not playing around<\/a> with poor quality software on the PS Store<\/a> anymore.<\/p>\n

The company\u2019s delisted thousands of cash grabs this year alone, and this morning it\u2019s swept away hundreds more.<\/p>\n

News first emerged on PSNProfiles<\/a>, but we\u2019ve been able to corroborate the information. It looks like the catalogues of Welding Byte, GoGame Console Publisher, and VRCForge have all been wiped.<\/p>\n

Some of the games removed include Jesus Simulator<\/a>, Watermelon Fruits Puzzle<\/a>, and Card Shop Game Store: TCG Simulator<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

While none of these are as egregious as asset flip titles like The Jumping Hamburger<\/a>, many of them look like knock-offs designed to deceive consumers.<\/p>\n

For example, Welding Byte\u2019s I Am Busy Digging a Hole<\/a> is clearly intended to dupe players into thinking it\u2019s A Game About Digging a Hole<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The real challenge for Sony is that it\u2019s stuck in a never-ending battle here. For example, it may have removed Jesus Simulator now, but Jesus: The Journey<\/a> launched last week.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s good to see it continuing to clean up the PS Store, then, but there\u2019s a long way to go in this battle.<\/p>\n
