\n The incident happened on Carr Crofts in Armley at around 7.08pm on Thursday, April 2, when a grey Volkswagen T\u2011Cross was involved in a collision with a 19\u2011year\u2011old man.\n<\/p>\n
Car made off from scene<\/p>\n
\n Following the collision, the car failed to stop and left the scene. The vehicle has not yet been located.\n<\/p>\n
\n Emergency services attended and the victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries, which police say are not being treated as life\u2011threatening.\n<\/p>\n
Police believe collision was deliberate<\/p>\n
\n Following initial enquiries, officers believe the vehicle may have deliberately struck the teenager and say a number of lines of enquiry are currently being pursued.\n<\/p>\n
\n Leeds CID is now appealing for witnesses or anyone with footage from the area at the time of the incident to come forward.\n<\/p>\n

\n Police have issued an appeal for further information relating to the incident online.\n<\/p>\n
\n A spokesperson said: “We are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was seriously injured in a fail to stop collision in Leeds.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Leeds CID would like to speak to anyone who witnessed or has footage of the incident which took place on Carr Crofts, Armley during the evening of Thursday 2 April.\n<\/p>\n
\n “It occurred at about 7.08pm after a grey Volkswagen T Cross was in collision with a 19-year-old teenage boy in the street.\n<\/p>\n
\n “The car then made off from the scene and is yet to be located.\n<\/p>\n
\n “The victim suffered serious injuries in the incident and was taken to hospital. His injuries are not being treated as life threatening.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Following investigation, officers believe the car struck the teenager deliberately and are currently pursuing a number of lines of enquiry.\n<\/p>\n
