The Prince and Princess of Wales and their children have attended the Royal Family’s traditional Easter service at Windsor for the first time since Kate was diagnosed with cancer.<\/p>\n

Prince William<\/a> and Kate<\/a> joined the King<\/a> and Queen<\/a> and other senior royals at the Easter Matins service at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, on Sunday.<\/p>\n

William waved to the large crowd outside the castle as he and his wife arrived with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.<\/p>\n

Charlotte was in a tan coat and Kate wore an off-white ensemble of skirt, smart jacket and leafy hat, while William and the boys wore dark blue suits and ties.<\/p>\n

Queen Camilla was in a red wool dress and coat by Fiona Clare, a hat by Phillip Treacy and a broach which belonged to the late Queen Elizabeth II<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It’s the first time since 2023 that the Waleses have been at the service.<\/p>\n

Last year, they opted to spend the Easter weekend with their children in Norfolk, while 2024’s service came just over a week after Kate released an emotional video message revealing she had started a course of preventative chemotherapy.<\/p>\n

Charles and Camilla arrived by car in front of the castle to a shout of “God save the King” from the crowd on Sunday morning.<\/p>\n

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor<\/a>‘s daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie were not there, after the King gave them permission to make other plans.<\/p>\n

Last year, Charles and Camilla were joined by the former Duke of York and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson at the 15th century chapel on Easter Sunday.<\/p>\n

\n 2024: Cancer diagnosis a ‘huge shock’\n <\/p>\n

Since then, Andrew has been stripped by the King of his right to be a prince and his dukedom over his association with paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Andrew was arrested<\/a> in February on suspicion of misconduct in public office. He denies any wrongdoing.<\/p>\n

Beatrice and Eugenie, who are the King’s nieces and have kept their titles as princesses, joined the Royal Family for Christmas at Sandringham in December.<\/p>\n

It is understood they will be at family celebrations in the future.<\/p>\n

The Princess Royal was accompanied at the Windsor service by her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence.<\/p>\n

The Duke of Edinburgh was also in attendance.
